Catherine West MP launches new canteen provision

On Friday 17th May, Mulberry Academy Woodside celebrated the inauguration of its new canteen and after-school provision by Catherine West MP. The (now former) Hornsey and Wood Green MP joined governors and community organisations at the new school facility to mark the expanded offering of extended school hours for secondary students. Students showcased a wide range of extracurricular activities, including the notable Mulberry STEM Academy programme in partnership with Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix Ltd. Catherine West recognised the importance of providing supportive spaces for students outside regular school hours and Headteacher Angela Wallace highlighted the school’s mission to provide exceptional education and experiences, emphasising the new facility’s role in enabling students to extend their learning and recreational opportunities.
