Catherine West MP Visits Mulberry Academy Woodside
On Friday 5th May, Catherine West – MP for Hornsey and Wood Green – visited Mulberry Academy Woodside.
The shadow foreign minister had lunch with a group of Year 11s and Ms Wallace, before moving on to a Q&A in the library with a group of Year 7s, 8s and 9s including some of our brilliant student councillors.
Pupils were thrilled to have the opportunity to meet their local MP, asking questions covering everything from Ms West’s journey to becoming an MP; how to win a debate; and how to prepare for the King’s Coronation.
The Labour MP rounded off her visit with a tour around the school, greeting and chatting with students as she left. “I had a brilliant time visiting Mulberry Academy Woodside.
