The library is based on the first floor of the Cedar building. It is open from 8:40am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:40am – 3:30pm Friday. Our librarians are Cheryl and Kayleigh and they will help you find anything you need.
The library has 15 computers and a fully interactive whiteboard as well as, a scanner and a photocopier.
There are book clubs to suit every age group.
We ensure everyone gets a chance to enjoy reading, with our buddy schemes, MLE groups and other reading initiatives. Links with departments in the school ensure we have relevant resources for all subjects; many subject teachers take advantage of the facilities we offer and bring classes in for research.
There are books that appeal to all tastes and interests. Non-fiction books are available, as well as up-to-date periodicals to support learning. We have a huge range of fiction, from classics to current best-sellers, and we welcome requests for new titles. We also have manga books, comics and quick reads.
